【炎上】日本で暴れた米国人ユーチューバーの悪行に米国人たちが謝罪「同じアメリカ人が馬鹿なことして日本の皆さんごめんなさい」

米国人ユーチューバーのローガン・ポール(22歳)が日本に旅行し、東京で迷惑行為や違法行為を繰り返し、さらに自殺者を撮影してYouTubeに掲載した件で、新たな進展があった。

・米国人たちが日本人に向けて謝罪
ローガン氏の愚行に対して多くの日本人が激怒しているが、ローガン氏と同じ国籍の人間として、米国人たちが日本人に向けて謝罪の声をあげているのだ。内容的には「同じアメリカ人が馬鹿なことして日本の皆さんごめんなさい」というものが多い。

かなり多くの米国人が日本人に謝罪をしており、同じ国籍の人間として恥ずかしい気持ちでいることも伝えている。以下はその一部である。

「日本の皆さん本当にごめんなさい。彼は典型的なアメリカ人ではありません」
「日本という素晴らしい国にあんなクズを踏み入れさせてしまって本当にごめんなさい」
「日本にいる外国人は彼の影響でネガティヴな対応をされるかもしれない」

・同国の人からも嫌われた
自分が犯した罪ではないものの、同じアメリカ人として彼の行った行動に謝罪する人たち。同国の人たちからも嫌われてしまったローガン氏だが、このままYouTubeアカウントが削除されてしまうかもしれない。ローガン氏のYouTubeアカウント削除を求めた署名活動が進んでいるからだ。

・反省期間なのか
いま現在、ローガン氏は謝罪動画をYouTubeに掲載し、それ以降は新たな動画を掲載していない。反省期間なのか、それとも引退したのか、そのあたりは不明なままだ。
